REPLACEMENT OF PLANT VITAL PARTS

Retrofit plants’ optimal application is in medium-voltage transformer substations and electric plants of 12 (7,2) kV in industry. Retrofit’s advantages are:

  • Quick renovation of cutoff elements
  • It prolongs life of plants
  • Possibility of partial equipment replacement
  • Minimal requests for maintenance of new switching equipment
  • It requests minimal no-voltage condition

RETROFIT TYPE-2

The plant with fix low-oil circuit-breaker BNR plants on pull-out wagons, cell type NS900 Energoinvest and similar.

Retrofit is made by installing fix circuit-breaker on the stand with flexible connectors onto the existing or replaced conductive isolator – connector. Lever elements are fitted to realize blockade function to prevent wrong manipulation, according to appropriate standard. Equipment for protection, monitoring and management is installed in LV cabinet. Transformer substations for measuring are replaced and mounted on the same position.

The plant with fix low-oil switches BNR plants on pull-out wagons, cell type NS900 Energoinvest and similar.

Retrofit is made by reconstruction of a pullable part by installing the cabinet in which a withdrawable circuit-breaker  (contactor) can be installed, which is brought to the plant and pulled-out position by operating the twisting spindle.

The cabinet can be with or without earthing, and is equipped with movable metal screens over contact connectors and blockages for prevention of wrong manipulations of earthing and switch. Equipment for protection, monitoring and management is installed in LV cabinet. Transformer substations for measuring are replaced and mounted on the same position.
