CHARACTERISTICS OF "DELS" SWITCHGEAR
Metal lined, air-isolated switchgear. Intended for distribution of energy on medium-voltage level. Factory-tested for installation in premises. Resistant to appearance of electrical arc.
The parts of switchgear are separated by metal divisions which are connected with cell earthing. Use of isolation materials is limited. It is equipped with mechanical safety blockades. Starting, maintenance and management of the switchgear can be done from the front.
The following devices can be installed in the switchgear: gas and vacuum switch, V contactor and separator.
The switchgear may be equipped with standard circuit transformer substations or new generation of current voltage sensors. It offers a wide range of functionality at any use. It is made in a modular way, which makes installation easier.

DELS is a medium-voltage metal clad switchgear produced according to IEC 6227 200, suitable for internal mounting. The switchgear is modular and is mounted by setting standard components one by one in exactly determined order. Some parts of the switchgearl (low-voltage part, a part for switch and a part for cables) are separated from each other by metal barriers whereby parts under voltage are air isolated. The switchgear offers a warranty for functionality of equipment items regarding safety in case of electric arc, which was ensured according to IEC 6227-200.
Installation and assembly of the switchgear is very simple. The switchgear may be assembled also next to the wall. The access to the part of the plant where energetic cables are connected may be done from the front.
TYPE EXAMINATIONS IN CESI, MILAN, ITALY
Type examinations of the DELS plant cells (12kV & 24kV) are done in CESI laboratories in Milan, all in accordance with IEC 62271-200.
- Voltage (isolation) examinations,

- Short circuit examinations
The plant is specially tested for internal arc resistance (arc proof testing).
